@dancing james is occasionally let out of the house, too.

• #6228
I get a free pass occasionally.
I think we are planing a Swinley jaunt on Thursday, will have our two dogs with us as well.
-
• #6229
I could do Thursday, you free Howrad?
-
• #6230
Nope soz
-
• #6231
Looks like we will be at Swinley tomorrow.
-
• #6232
Time? Was planning on doing early: 10:30
-
• #6233
not certain yet, will check with Annie. this is subject to Sidney being able to come with us - he has damaged a claw and it is very sensitive. we do have rubber booties we can put on it if he can bear weight on the foot - they are like heavy duty foot condoms
-
• #6234
I find the regular duty foot condoms are prone to failing, good choice.
-
• #6235
what a wuss! Doh snapped his whole nail off, and didn't even stop running. He didn't like having TCP put on it when we got home though.

• #6236
Oops. Just agreed to buy a Genesis IO frame. Another in a long and undistinguished line of bikes I'll cobble together from boxes of spares...

Sidney saw the vet earlier, as his paw was swollen and he could not bear weight and was flinching/yelping if it was touched.
No surprise that it is infected, and he is now on anti inflammatory drugs and antibiotics.
@Howard I may be able to come out via train to Swinley, but would be on fat bike and probably a bit slow for you.
-
• #6238
We'll wait for you on the hills.

• #6239

11am @ Martins Heron or Swinley?
-
• #6244
Was thinking 10.47 arrival at Martins Heron for 11am at Swinley.
-
• #6245
Sounds good to me
-
• #6246
Yep sounds good. See you there / on train.
-
• #6247

I finally got a MTB frame..
On-one Inbred, just need to sort it out with some bits so I can ride, if anyone is having a clear out then let me know.. (forks, stem, handlebars, brakes, wheels)

Good Swinley ride today, quite tired. Hope the hands ok Howard. Few photos:

much fun, so session
lovely to spend time with two much stronger, faster riders than me. hope you did not mind me slowing the pace. was good to do the blue and red routes and then go back and look at some of "old Swinley" including the drop session section and corkscrew
hoping Howard's hand recovers swiftly for the upcoming tour. was great to see that our motley collection of bikes were more than capable of riding around, that none of us needed AM 650b bikes or whatever the latest and greatest trend is.
am rather tired, typically strava has included my train journey as part of my distance for the day, so ignore that. i did about 25 miles including my ride to richmond station
Sounds good. @⑦up?
