confusedyes..its a gear leaver... To change gears, the rider must stop pedalling and twist the top part of the lever which allows the 'flippers' on the chain-stay to move back and forth pushing the chain into gear, this has to be done while pedalling backwards.
Then the chain tension can be manually maintained onto the slotted teeth once in gear, the rider can then resume pedalling.
sounds like a right mare! -

ah, no weird levers, so much better...
it's seems as though porn earlier than some 60-ies or even 70-ies is not real porn for me. i've yet to learn, i guess... -

Leaving all else aside, I don't think you're supposed to clamp the EC90z post that far up the shaft, and he could have saved a bunch of weight by using a smaller frame. The seat clamp is a real boat anchor too, about 3 times the weight of a true weight-weenie part. Same goes for the Chub - proper weight-weenie fixed riders use either American Classic or a front disc hub with a bolt on sprocket. No wonder he's not even close to the weight-weenie bench mark of 7.2lb for a fixed bike with a front brake.

This shop seems to be a veritable hub of antiporn

What is it with that bike shop? The owner of it seems obsessed with posting pictures of shit bikes propped up outside it.

Really, really don't like the bars.
Not really, not everyone can have custom geometry.
All the keirin frames I have seen have a longer top tube than seat tube when in the smaller sizes. People like me need exactly the opposite. I would need a setup very similar to that if not higher.
