Sad to see another forum legend go, yet I can’t help but feel glad to see all these OG faces pop up to say goodbye. Thanks for the memories all.

My time in London was brief (and very polo-centric), but I still have very fond memories of Aram and Jenne being really warm, welcoming and encouraging. RIP, and condolences to all his family and friends. X

I can't believe Aram is gone, and how sudden it was. There are no words.
I first met Aram and Jenne in 2009. I had heard about bike polo in London and discovered it was being played right by my flat in Fulham. I plucked up the courage to go one Thursday and was warmly welcomed by Aram, @big_daddy_wayne, @Greasy_Slag, @provenrad, @moog and a few others. Jenne turned up later that evening as well.
We became firm friends and I became a regular of West Beers and West Polo.
I think, in late 2011 I need a place to live and Jenne and Aram said there was a room coming free in casa @goodhead, where they lived, in East Dulwich.
I moved in and had the best few years, living with them, @Mrlemon and after a while @hats and @inchpincher, before Aram and Jenne moved into their own place.
During that time, we had so many wonderful times, and many many laughs in our weird little family.
It was probably the most fun time of my life and I'm so grateful to Aram for being so friendly and welcoming that first evening that I went to polo. The forum changed my life for the better and I'm so glad I met both Aram and Jenne.
A few photos of Aram are here

Goddammit!

Corny!
I actually can't remember. Maybe the party was that good?!
Emilio did visit the East Dulwich place a couple of times when I lived there, but I don't remember the party. Maybe I was away, or my memory is going!X

Just very sad and very unfair- always seems to be the good people that die before their time.

Yes. It was at the casa de Goodhead. I chatted with his dad for like 30 minutes. He remembered my uncle who was also breaking into the NYC TV scene in the same era. My uncle was dating one of the producers of Sesame Street at the time.

Was elguapo part of the burrito ride?
Yes, he was actually the protagonist for the film, “a Mexican who can’t find an adequate burrito in London”. I’ve asked the friend who filmed and edited it to see if he can dig it out, but here’s the trailer:

I am still trying to put together my thoughts. I latched onto Aram and Jenne as they were fellow Americans who were trying to figure out the whole UK thing after moving here.
We moved to where we live today in SE London to be closer to friends, including them and @Object and @hillbilly and @mrs_socks . Aram introduced us to another couple (also Americans) at the Ivy House. Caroyln and Jeremy became really good friends for ours and their son was the same age as ours.
Aram was like that. He left wonderful legacy of unexpected connections in his wake.
I, along with many, will miss him.

Yes mate it did. Aram's dad and stepmother came over - was a good do.
So sad about this news but also really nice to see the love and pics shown.

Now this will sound stupid and irrelevant but after the movie, I talked to Aram about burritos as the closed I had had, up until then, was taco bell. He explained (educated) me in to what made good mexican, and Tex mex food.
For that, I thank thank him.

I remember meeting Aram and Jenne on a bridge ride going west and I talked about malt loaf. I saw them at wests and souths and some Peckham things.
I think I saw him last maybe last year and we talked about cargo bikes and dadding.
It’s gutting. RIP.

I hadn't seen Aram in a few years (him being in Cornwall and me being in Asia) but I know it would have been like no time had passed if (I thought it was when!!) we next saw each other. Part of my London family, Aram was kind, funny and grumpy and the best pony of the west. Sending so much love to Jenne and Eladio xxx

So so sad to hear this news, all my thoughts go out to Jenne. I’m in Cornwall so if any help is needed, whatever it is, I’m here and can help. Please get in touch, forum people help each other, that’s one of the best things about here. I can’t start to imagine the loss of such a lovely man. Rip Aram

Please keep sharing the GoFundMe link, we reached the £15k target so I've bumped it up to £20k. Thanks to everyone for being so generous, it's heartwarming to see so many familiar names from here on the donations list. 🙏

RIP Aram - I didn't know him pr his family but a connection is felt through this community and I can only hope that the little bit of financial support that these donations bring will make a big difference to his wife and son in the coming months - all my best wishes to them...xxx

Fuck it man!
Life is cruel, this Man wasn't, in fact the very antithesis, capable of articulating how he felt inside bringing the best out of those around him. Old Guapo could pick a mean tune, handy on the old bongos, tidy polo player, hipster, dedicated father, husband and son.. all round forum legend.
We are here for a fleeting moment, make it count for those around us.
Give Big Wayne a big kiss from me brother!
Love to all those he left behind, most of all his awesome wife and child X
Sad times. Good see these old faces. so good

That’s a lovely trailer, mostly because it’s all Aram, if Jonny can find the film, would be amazing to see it. Had no idea this was made.
Such a shame, very sad to hear this news. Hope J&G and the rest of his family are okay. RIP dude.
