  • Even if the new scales read more the actual amount you've lost is still accurate, which is loads btw, good job. I've got the recommended Tanita™ scales and they did read different but I thought it was about 1kg less, my memory's going though.

  • my memory's going though.

You must be really starving yourself for that to happen.

  • Yeah am only really concerned with general trend. Only thing is I've allowed myself some treats for reaching certain weight milestones. Would hurt me to have to wait another week for a pizza.

  • The One Show tested a load of bathroom scales with official weights and measures and the cheapest were most accurate but all were consistently "wrong"

  • 24/02/16 - 96.7kg
    02/03/16 - 96.1kg
    09/03/16 - 96.8kg
    16/03/16 - 95.7kg

  • Sloooow

  • but still the right direction overall.

  • The beer isn't helping, but for my sanity I'm not cutting that out. I'm getting a minimum of 10 hours of exercise a week, I've got muscles in my legs I've never seen before, my resting heart rate is way down (I now rest like an athlete - not sure if that's good or not) but the pudge won't budge. Someone in work did say she reckoned I'd lost weight though.

  • I have found that a combination of days starting at 5am and finishing at midnight, gallons of black coffee and running 25km/day promote weight loss. 78kg this am.

  • If Your weight is going Down, Your resting heartrate is going Down, and Your muscle mass is going up. Youre doing great. These are all good Things which tend to cancel each other out a bit in terms of a total body weight figure.

Personally I'm stabilising. Which is kinda dull. But cant really press for more With my current training load.

Plus I've just committed to a rugby 7s tournament. Fecking 10kg Down from my usual game weight. Maybe I'll be suited to running away from the big bad men.

  • i was told my Heavy training load, and caffiene abuse could be causing 'adrenal fatigue' or something. Which is stopping me sleeping. Thus stopping me recover from training. Thus increasing the stress my body is under.

    Balls to it.

Riding bikes, and drinking coffee is pretty much all I know.

  • I've been in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki over the last few weeks, coffee is always available, my bike less so

  • Norwegians are the biggest consumers of coffee in europe I think. But Scandinavia in general drinks a crazy amount of strong black coffee.

I've stopped drinking it after 2pm. I'm also trying to Train as early as possible, to allow my body to fully recover before bed. But thats not really working out. This will all get many times worse when the uber long summer days kick in.

  • Slight run in with a motorised twat wagon this morning. Hoping the extra adrenaline boosts calorific burn.

Just need some extra Youearnedit points to get the Fitbit body fat % scales from the work scheme (@Dammit cough cough)

  • Guilt trip successful, scales ordered.

  • Pff - just make sure you don't drink coffee after training and you should be fine.

  • i'm sitting here with a coffee having just got back from the gym #fail

  • Might as well end it all now

  • Tanita scales arrived & set-up and they're already telling me things I want to hear. Praise @hippy!

  • Good luck. Mine are showing slightly lower numbers but not low enough.

  • Does anyone have any recommendations for the cheapest places to buy nuts?

Also any good "diet" apps - just something to track my food really.

    Going keto from today.

    Cheers

  • Lidl without a doubt.

Just missed my 100kg target for my Zimbabwe holiday but pleased I got near. Now I just need to maintain for two weeks then get back at it.

  • That's an incredible amount of weight to lose in such a short time.

    Amazing work!

According to Google Images, this is a little over 20Kg:
