VO Grand Cru bars; 42cm at the hoods, 48 at the drops, with a whopping 120mm reach. Really like the angle of the hoods as a result of the flare. And some jewelry bar ends to match the saddle.

Different pedals and tyres should finish this off.

They’re okay, but they’re bothering me more and more. Getting up to speed on the road, I feel like I notice that they’re not that fast.

Tubeless setup was a breeze though; I got them to seat with a floor pump, and they held air without sealant.

But what to get next? I'm eyeing some Ultradynamico Cava Races, but they’re mad pricey.

That’s my worry, they may need a bit too much effort :D
And the Ultra’s make my wallet bleed just thinking about them.

Late to the party, but RaceFace Chesters are excellent flat pedals at a reasonable cost. Usually on offer around £30 too. Done loads of long rides on them, they last well and are very grippy.

Just been out myself, similar weather, bright with the threat of rain lurking in the distance.

Love the way the sun hits the top of the clouds. So much more interesting looking than bright blue skies.
