Yep I booked in a different area. Clicked on the drop down for other HBs. Have a look in South Lanarkshire.
-

Lanarkshire haven't got any drop in at the moment, says they just do that as and when they have availability.
I finish work quite early tomorrow so going to head over to this drop in bus at Clydebank and hope they have some Pfizer.

Fingers crossed

Two hours into this queue and about the same to go until I get to the front and no idea if they do Pfizer yet. 😩

Bad luck. I was 10 minutes early for my pre-booked booster shot this morning, got told to go in anyway as there was only a 3 person queue, and was out and about with an achy arm before the time my shot had been booked for.
That was Moderna on top of double AZ though.

Winning.
Did you do your 15 minute wait back at the pub? -

Do bears shit in the woods? :)

Pharmacy in East Ham were taking walk-ins so managed to get a Moderna earlier. 10 min wait.
A local temple are doing Phizer jabs but are fully booked and only accepting walk-ins for the last hour of the day.

Sneaked a booking in for Tuesday this week, thought it was for Wednesday so missed it. Positive LF on Thursday. PCR on Friday. Like an even shitter Craig David song.

Oof. Might be for the best though, I had a booster on top of what I thought was a mild sore throat/cold thing, and it totally knocked me for six for a few days. Hope you get a mild case.

Oh that’s a bit of a relief then. Feels like a cold tbh. I haven’t had a cold in about five years but I think this is what it’s like.

I'm blaming knackered immune system on my melodramatic response to the booster, anyway. Book for your booster in 28 days.

Got to almost 3 hours in the queue and was told they had run out of vaccine.
So I looked at what was available in neighbouring health boards like @hurricane_run suggested and went to a drop-in in Kilmarnock. 5 minutes outdoor wait and the same if even that inside and got a very painless dose Pfizer.
No side effects so far…🤞

12-15 year olds can book second Covid vaccinations on the national booking service

Best of luck. Think you’re doing the right way around, getting your weekend in first then the jab!
I’m feeling pretty done in today which I presume is side effects.
Nothing too serious, sore arm and general malaise. Really had none of this with valneva interestingly.

Got boosted last night. Sore arm. Not as bad as the first 2 jabs

A new vaccine that's apparently more 'traditional', but is nevertheless the first of its type for COVID-19.

Think there was a novavax trial running in Glasgow.
I’ve developed a bit of covid arm or ‘delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity’ following my Pfizer on Friday. What fun.

Vax clinic in kings college hospital taking walk ins. Best entrance is via coldharbour. Queue extends for about 15 people inside the building + however many outside. Don’t believe the nhs website and have your nhs number handy, they won’t let you queue otherwise.

Boosted with Moderna. Pfizer for first two. Feel worse now than after either previous goes.

3x Pfizer for me as of yesterday.
Slight sore arm. Hard to tell if I’m feeling a bit off because of it or from the poor sleep from my wife working through the night.
Yeah, looked at that.
Have you booked an appointment in a different health board area?
Booking system doesn’t seem to work for me (because I’ve cancelled an appointment or because the system doesn’t show what I’ve had, or both) so I’m going to have to do a drop in but all the vaccine centres in Greater Glasgow and Clyde are appointment only. Went to one just to try this morning and was turned away.
There’s a mobile bus thing I can try tomorrow and failing that I might try somewhere in Ayrshire and Arran as they have a buttload off drop in clinics.
