  • My 3xpfizer rampage started 20 hours after the jab. Rampage lasted 12 hours and all good afterwards.

3 times Pfizer within 4 month and 22 days, is it the same cadence in the UK?

  • Went yesterday and had Pfizer no queues, took 5 mins.

  • Had my second end of June.
    Wife has just tested positive….

  • Wife has just tested positive….

    Fuck! Sorry dude

  • Fairly relaxed about it at present. Had it very mildly last year. Now both vaccinated so fingers crossed it’ll be even milder.

  • Does it mess much with travel plans?
Sorry to hear about the positive, hope it ends up no worse than a common cold

  • Pfizer dose 3 + 12 hours, injection site the slightest bit sore.

    • 15 hours, felt lightly feverish for an hour. No difficulty sleeping but had very vivid musicalisation in my head before falling asleep.

    • 22 hours, woke up with arm slightly sore to use. Hand swollen but possibly unrelated.

Sitting at + 36, arm very slightly sore to use, generalised aching body like during a fever. What’s the term for that in English?

  • What’s the term for that in English?

    Manflu?

You got any redness around your injection site?

  • I had my Moderna booster yesterday and also got shivers during the night but the worst part was massive heart burn so I had to sit up in bed and didn't sleep. Now just a bit of aching and shivers left.

  • Exactly the same here. Just had a night of no sleep, pain in all my joints and muscles, feverish, just shit.

  • Az x 2 and the Pfizer booster.

No Symptoms, it’s almost 48 hours since Jab.

  • Had two AZ vacancies no issue but this Pfizer booster knocked me for six. Felt fine up until the 12 hours mark then felt a bit wary then woke up at 02:00am with cold sweats followed by hot sweat, headache, and just really achy this continued for the next 9hrs.

Feel a bit jaded today but able to function. Wife had the same two AZ vacancies she was poorly after the 1st AZ but fin for the booster.

  • Ended up with a full on fever and cold sweat after posting this. Back to business now. Not sure I want to do this every 6 months or so.

    Snap.

  • Not sure if this is common knowledge and I just missed the memo, but I just got turned away from my Moderna booster for having had a positive PCR in the last 28 days. Can say I'm not slightly relieved that Christmas isn't going to be spent in bed.

    exactly same on moderna

If you've had a positive COVID-19 test, you need to wait before getting any dose of the vaccine. You need to:

wait 4 weeks (28 days) if you're aged 18 years old or over
wait 12 weeks (84 days) if you're aged 12 to 17 years old
wait 4 weeks (28 days) if you're aged 12 to 17 years old and at high-risk from COVID-19

They have improved / clarified the wording. Looks like I'm going to need to delay the second dose for one of my kids.

  • Perked up about three hours ago. What an ordeal. I'm going to ask not to have Moderna next time.

  • It was quite nice cycling down to the vaccination centre at least, after 10 days of isolation, then 2 more of realising I didn't have anywhere to go anyway.

  • Not sure I want to do this every 6 months or so.

Still makes me think "if this is the vaccine I really don't want the virus"

  • Manflu?

Unlikely, as manflu seems to affect males exclusively. The sensation of discomfort bordering on very mild pain all over (especially torso and neck) that accompanies or precedes a fever is known as ‘cuerpo cortado’ in Spanish. Should be a term in English, maybe German has one 🤔

  • Apologies, I realised that’s probably not a very wise term to use nowadays and while I didn’t mean to jump any assumptions with its use I think I probably did.

I know the feeling you mean, it was how I started feeling about 8-10 hours after my Pfizer dose.

I thought it felt like, if my skin were a garment then I’d done the buttons up out of sync or had it on back to front. Does that make any sense?

  • Had Pfizer booster 4 weeks ago (AZ fist and second). I spent all night waiting to get side effects. Absolutely none. I felt pretty crap after my first jabs and would willingly feel that crap again…
