What's 235 doing?

sounds like a saddle sore to me, maybe infected?

Ditto that, just checked FRRT and was a bit disappointed. Was a nice way to dot watch.

From Facebook he is intentionally not doing CP1 Parcours. Unless I've missed the sarcasm. But why bother entering if you aren't aiming to do the checkpoints at all.

didn't even reach CP1. Apparently big garmin issues. I hope they'll keep riding to teh finish, even if they don't go via checkpoints.

Interesting dotwatching with Fiona Kolbinger taking what looks like the less hilly route compared to rj and Ben Davies. hippy's tracker hasn't updated for more than 13 hours. I hope it passes through his digestive system soon and he finds other food somewhere.

He's moaning away on Twitter, the main way we know he's ok isn't it :)
So Fiona was leading for a while, wonder if that is the first female lead in TCR? One to ask Frank, but he's racing. -

Very annoying that some of the most informative people on the subject of TCR are actually riding it and so not available to comment upon it or or are pootling around Kyrgyzstan taking snaps for the 'Gram.
I mean, fancy being out on a bike when the TCR is on.

Samuli seems to be struggling a bit, but is still in good spirit. Hopefully all settles and we'll see a good attack from him later in the race.

Gravel taking the first victims. Go Samuli.

Quite. Deviants, the lot of them. Thank goodness us dotwatchers are normal.

Shame Björn had to scratch. Hope he comes back next year.

I can't seem to find anything about Fiona Kolbinger other than that she is a German medical student who likes fencing, running, and medical research.
Anyway, great to see such a strong woman in the race. I hope she keeps up her strong riding.
Tanja Hacker's not badly-placed, either, in the low 20s (hard to tell with varied routes). She's #222 to Fiona Kolbinger's #66. :)
Also:
Despite puncturing three times and crashing twice, Fiona is the first woman on the road and now holding her own in third place on GC.

Has Rob Quirk scratched?

Oh, and Matthew Falconer had four punctures on Day 1.
These reports are really good.
I like this picture caption:

He remembered to bring his shoes then

But did hippy? I think we should be told.

Her Strava profile is accessible. Some long (and fast) rides out of Dresden. Plans on doing TCR and then PBP.

Hippy's tracker not working anymore. Passed CP2 on the 258 now.
-
• #1874
Hippy has swapped his tracker for a TCR one, which should be working soon.

does anyone know what the 'Straight Tracking Distance covered' output is? Is it phrased like that because the tracker doesn't really stick to roads often?
Dingle speed on one side, freewheel on the other
