How was the ice cream?

Excellent ride. Thanks to platypus for conceiving and leading it and great to see mespilus, pit, and kati again, and meeting platypus, grog, and Simon.

I haven't felt so stuffed for quite some time. Green Valley was definitely the highlight. Next time: More makdous. :) Tramp food is the new tramp beers.

I wonder if Best Falafel will be open the next time around, but we performed a good save.

mespilus' chain was doing a bit of dRuislipping.

@mespilus: We only rode past the pub in the end! It was right at the last turning we took. Completely missed it.

Extremely fast wind-assisted ride home, despite the additional weight I was carrying.

I had the one sorbet they had, which was good, but not outstandingly so. I gather the dairy dessert platypus and mespilus had was better.

Syrian ice cream was pretty dense with a coating of crushed green pistachios.

Did you guys have the Knafeh?
Its super dense as is made with mastic.

I've had Turkish dondurma that contained mastic, but Friday night's Syrian ice cream did not appear to me to have the distinctive tang.
