Just rode a bit of the SDW tonight, my route is in purple on the bottom left. Any ideas why the tile hasn't been marked as ridden? Also are people using any apps or plugins or anything to see if tiles have been completed during the ride? I use a garmin.

Double click the route in Veloviewer, should increase the markers. Hopefully you’ll have a marker in the tile.
That said RWGPS isn’t 100% on the pull through. -

Thanks, didn't work though. Frustrating.

I think that's the one, thanks. Hopefully I can get my head around it enough to install it.

That's weird, never had an issue with a tile so clearly passed. Does it show the same on statshunters?

Same deal on stats hunters.

I've been making some headway the last month or so, before our renovation properly starts and all my free time will be spent on DIY. Currently on 39x39 but would be nice to get to 50x50 by the end of the year.

So the gps saves every second. If you open the file from the map view in Veloviewer and zoom in you can see the record points.
Also the map might not be fully accurate and combined with some gps drift.
So either edit the original to contain a data point or save a random bit of route in that square.
I had the same on my max square ride and the above is a summary of what Ben shared with me. -

Nice

Statshunters don't do my maxsquare right, but the badges are real fun. Looks like I just missed a race circuit two years ago (Hockenheim).

Is it possible to move/adjust a ride point in either Strava or V V ?
I'd like to move this about 2 meters to the left.

You’d need to create a file save it upload it.

I wonder if that is less tedious then having to go back there

I once had to do a 45km ride to get a single tile I'd missed. It ended up being one of my favourite rides that year.
Speaking of which, I'm aiming to be back on my tilebagging next year, been a shit couple of years for riding bikes for me.

I think I'll go back and get it. There are others nearby that I can tick off at the same time.
I'm reaching the limits of where I can easily reach on my SS MTB, so will start using SS road bike to get further out

It will be much more fulfilling to tick it off legit than to tamper with the file. I think we all have some near missed tiles, I know I do. Just part of the game.

It's one meter outside the tile. Up a steep rutted track. But yeah. I'm going to go back bag it and have a beer there as a reward

If you have an android you can use the explorer helper app to make sure you got the tile while out on the road https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.anisart.vv
There is also a garmin iq app -

Squadrats!
Ooh so can I play now? Hahah 9x9. This is what happens when you always ride the same routes.

Uploaded 3 old training rides to Strava and I'm now at 14x14. Go me!
-
• #548
Having uploaded some files over the last few days, now in the top 20 riders for Squadrats but only have a 14x14 square, because obviously I've never gone for rides to make a square.
If only I had a GPS on when I was touring.

All the big guns are using veloviewer though? Sandbagger!
