But also Fabric bottles and studs, so if you don't want to wear a sweaty backpack you can use bottles, but if you stick a framebag in there you don't need to remove bottle cages.

wearing a backpack whilst riding mtb sucks, unequivocally
EDIT - maybe not unequivocally. but sweaty backs suck.

69,5 is still quite steep and not really needed unless racing.
No really, 69.5 isn’t steep - check out the trek a few pages back at
72.Okay.
2 degrees slacker than this
Which would put the front axle a whole 17mm further forwards. If
that's all that's stopping you from going OTB, you be doing something
wrong.Disregard my previous ill-advised post. Just go for the Trek, you won't notice the difference. If you OTB check out @umop3pisdn beginners MTB-class. He'll teach you.

Have you seen how much i sweat on rides? I need to wear an outfit made of sponges D:

On the Scalpel? None. Water bottles do not belong on a mountain bike, unless you're racing XC.

• #513
That's beautiful. You're wasted in science.

Here, you forgot your salt

Nothing can stop you going OTB. Not even a dropper post!

Na. Haven’t even Audaxed in a year. I only stopped mtbing because not having a car made it really quite tricky. When I live in the sticks again I probably will. I do, arguably, enjoy road bikes more though tbh

Re: fabric bottles and studs, I lost a bottle which cracked on impact with tarmac the other day, on a road bike. Doubt they will stay on for long in the world of chucking.

I found a sled for you
(Would ride, actually, but would probably die)
-
• #522
Never lost one yet, on or off road. You can tighten the studs up more, they fatten up a bit, give more tension.

Interesting!

Can confirm, it ejects on anything remotely rooty.

This, although I've been giving consideration to a hip pack lately as I've yet to use half of what I keep in my backpack...
