@dbr gret little thread you have here, reminds me of the good old days of @ChainBreaker 'light and safe dolan'
Look forward to this thread to unfold into forum gold.

That's a good point. This bike needs a carbon chainring.

Dunno. Still a load of curious figures in there. The Fairlight Bicycles crank test is a good reference, although the Red22 they use was the GXP version, adds 60g or so compared to the kindaBB30 version

I've got a couple of carbon saddles you can take you're pick from if you'd like? To borrow
The chinese seatposts are super light but not very strong.....I managed to crack mine.

The saddles should work with that seatpost

Super special edition <200g AX Lightness rims with Ti spokes and modded hubs.

They are and I have a pair of arms and spider that I'd part with for £75. 170mm tho.

Anyone want a set of SRAM Red cranks...?

Love it when a plan comes together

How much?
-
• #72
I got em for £84 posted so £75 to cover my S-Works costs and I'll be happy. Little ring looks almost unused.
-

They come in at 410g with lockring and spider and axle (obvs given the design)
That light enough? With a BB (70g) and chainring and bolts that should be a system weight of about 410 + 70 + 125 + 15 = 620g?
(holllowgram SL shown for comparison)

Gonna hold out actually, I have a holiday next month to fund.
Cheers though
The weight quoted on that thread is simply wrong.
