On the road and at the finish it tested fine. Tested again yesterday and it didn't power up. Guess it was borderline dead. Annoying, since got through last year on one set batteries.

Next year: TABR (presumably east to west), then crossing the Pacific in a pedalo (with extra sandpaper on the seat), ride across Asia, do TCR. Sorted.
