I'm blown away
That's typical for modern architecture, it often creates wind tunnel effects.

Biggups @mi7rennie . This thread was a top idea.

Don't forget to add hashtag 'architecture' for the filters.

When does voting start/end?
-
• #235
Cheers bud, I'm glad people have enjoyed it and there is huge possibilities for future weekly themes.

I think you should start a new thread " voting lfgss photography contest no1 - architecture" or something like that and add the entries and a poll. Of course the winner should do it foe the next one. Not much of a prize :)

Subbed

Not sure as everyone is subbed to this thread. I'll see how I get on.
Also anyone who has made multiple entries please delete all except the one entry you want considered.

Still waiting to see some entries by certain people...

Me too, also struggling with a way to get all the photos into one post for easy viewing.... don't want to make the whole thing too labour intensive as it will put people off entering if winning means they need to spend hours gathering all the entries and re-posting them.

I think it's just going to have to be a laborious mega-post. To be honest, there's probably only about 15 entries... Can't think of an easier way of doing it.
Maybe add winning photos to the first post.

Top work so far, I'm feeling a little out of my depth but, good reason to get out and shoot more.
Factory
Fuji X10, shot RAW, converted to black and white and processed in camera. Cropped and straightened in PS.

If you just click on the architecture hashtag then it brings up all the submissions. If we do architecture again, then make sure to do architecture2 so the same can occur.
Also another idea. With every week, if the new theme was posted - by the winner - with a "hashtag"photocomp then all the themes could be viewed by searching "hashtag"photocomp to check for overlaps.Really disappointed with myself, didn't get a photo in. And I'm in cambridge so no excuses really. Hoping that we can do architecture again a few times as it is a really good and broad theme.

You have 2 hours and 19 minutes.... :)
I'm also going to add each week to the first post too so people can always refer back to that.
I like the 'hashtag' method as it takes a lot of the manual work out of it, which means it's more likely to continue.
I'll post some reminders tomorrow for anyone that hasn't used the tag to edit their entry and see how we get on.

Yeah, I wish I had that much control over my life. I think the subjects lights are off anyway now.
Shame that if you click on the hashtag the pictures don't show; then we could've done away with the 'all pictures in one post' thing (think there are approx 26 posts!).

Earlier in the thread, Velocio said that the hashtag stuff hadn't had much use on here previously, so perhaps if this is something that people want we could ask him (no idea how much work it would be!!). Alternately there may be a way of searching that allows photos to show but I can't see one at the moment.
It was never used in anger, the hashtag stuff... so if you do find issues with it let me know and I'll make it better.

Ignore.

I think we could do a custom search.
I'll check the appropriate thread to see if it is possible but something like:
Show all posts that have the hashtag, in this thread, with an attachment.
In fact, thinking about it, we would need the search to return the attachments, not the posts. We would have to ask @Velocio if this can be done.
