  • EOS300D - slightly cropped #architecture

Like a rushed piece of last minute homework this was shot a couple of hours ago.
Not particularly proud of it, but I thougt it'd be a good exercise to submit something every week so here it is...

  • Wtf is that wall? :')

Would be interested to see that from above, drone anyone?

  • As with Rik I wanted to get something in, but really struggled to get anything I was happy with.

  • Craig Goch Dam in the Elan Valley, Brecon Beacons.

Made by the victorians to provide water from the Brecon Beacons to Birmingham. Opened by King Edward the 7th.
Classic Victorian architecture, currently overflowing due to rainwater over the arches (as designed).

  • Top thread idea, let's see if I can take anything worthy of involvement tomorrow.

  • Just perfect- very nice!

  • So many good entries today. I thought I'd already made my choice, but that's gone out the window!

@golden2620 that is a particularly wonderful photo.

    this

  • I've seen pictures of this dam a bazillion times

But I still enjoyed this, lovely shot.

  • enjoying the thread, has obviously encouraged people to take their cameras out so great work. I can see the one submission rule is making people post their remaining pics on the 'other thread' - would it be worth saying, post as many as you like here, but only nominating one for submission?? Not sure - maybe that's a good thing, just asking.

Had nothing to offer until today, went to Newport Street Gallery, it's a great space, enjoyed it. Hope this qualifies as on topic:

  • I forgot to develop my film until 3am last night...

  • Does the winner choose the theme for the following week?

I'm going to try and get out today and shoot.

  • I'm blown away by the quantity and quality of all these.

Also inspired and feel like I'm learning stuff already.

    Great thread.
