If you actually mean a seat tube clamp for a FD then I think I have a plain silver shimano one in 31.8 (i think) that you can have - even as temp. Can have a look tonight if needed. Came off a Caad from '05 so kinda old enough.

I've actually got one of those for this already - thanks for the offer though.
I'd like something closer to the original, which was quite slim and painted black, the Shimano one is pretty chunky.

chunky they are. Might be worth giving these guys a call:
http://www.pedalpedlar.co.uk/I have dropped in many times looking for small parts and they've always been happy to help. They have several bikes with 600 series stuff too. Not so much 90's stuff but you never know.

I've emailed them, thanks.

Would anyone be able to create a file from the tricolour which could then be used to print onto clear vinyl?
That's how the actual tricolour is applied to the components, and a sheet of fresh ones would quite possibly be fairly popular for anyone seeking to build with as-near-new components as possible.

got a sacrificial one you can scan? don't really feel like peeling any of mine off...
-
• #218
If we could guarantee being able to make more then I'm fine with peeling one off.
Or I could order some of these and we could scan them?

Sounds good.

Were you after one of these Tom?

Yup, ta. Will double check my spoke counts at lunch to make sure I'm not being an idiot and then click buy.

Seeing all the 600 it its pristine glory is making me want to switch out all the rattier bits on my Lloyd :(

That hub has the grey band round it that my one is missing.

That's some fresh looking 600. Think it's going to work better than DA really.

this is coming together very tastefully, noice
what are you going to do ref. the 6400/1 fd band on situation, as iirc they didn't do 31.8mm bitd
bore out a 6400 28.8mm clamp on one of Talbot's machines?
Reccomendations for a 31.8mm seatpost clamp that would go with the 6400 group?
The original has, very sadly, been lost in the post it would appear.
