Clinchers R Def.

I prefer tubs, I commuted in to work this morning on tubs.
I never considered using clinchers on this tbh.

Not even a nice pair of never-ridden freshly-built giro d'italia rims on 7400 hubs?

As has been mentioned this takes a proprietary front mech adapter, which the seller promised to send on, but I've not got it yet, so if the worst happens and it never arrives does anyone know of a source for 30mm front mech bands?

Although the verniers seem to think it's a 32mm seat tube, would a 31.8mm clamp be ok with that 0.2mm difference, or is that crazy talk?

• #183
You'll be fine.

• #184
Promise?
-
• #185
yes

If the seat tube folds in half will you get me a new frame?
-
• #187
no, user error.
edit:
What clamp are you looking at?
Unless you use a solid steel block chances are that the clamp easily will bend enough to distribute the load.
maybe sand away the 0,1 mm on the inside clamp. -

I still need a seatpost, but I need to confirm what size that is first, and I'll need to pick up an SMP.

The matching paint pump is awesome!

Those details, amazing. Love the sculpted welds (filler?) on the headtube and seat stay cluster.

I'm not going to strip the paint to find out, the details are lovely.

See you already got the omega rims, but if you are looking for a spare rim + rear hub (DuraAce 7400-something) I have this for sale (in Norway though!):

Rim has a scratch all the way aroud on the NDS (probs from a misaligned brake shoe). DS looks like new. Likewise with the hub.
