Yes to the Roberts!

3rensho roadie received. Paint is tired and whole bike needs a good wash/clean/polish/wax. Made from cr-mo Super Strong so weighs a tonne. High chance I'll be swapping the forks/HS out for a carbon threadless number, a Sharky 3R kinda look :) Apart from that it looks beaut, exactly the same as the 3R track.
Now debating stealing my bro's Gangsta and buying a Parlee.. -
• #283
On that note the cranks and BB (Shimano 600 Tricolor) are for sells..
And to summarise, Projects 2018 currently stand at semi-custom Moots Routt, 3Rensho roadie, Roberts track and possibly something carbon and naughty..

Wow. That would be pretty awesome.
I got to say i just had first rides on my ESX. It's so good ;)) -

Cheers man, aye will see how that goes ;) Oh nice, can imagine! I don't think you can go wrong with any Parlee tbh..
So I have stripped the 3R roadie. Overall in excellent structural condition but has no doubt been lying about for a while and appears very much unloved. Paint is tired with a good number of rub marks but it adds to the character. Needs a very good clean/polish/wax and seat tube and BB reamed/ faced.
It's built from double butted Cr-Mo so the frame itself weighs 2150g and fork 750g.. Not far off my Gangsta! Geometry wise matches very very close to my Talbot.
On that note I was wondering if anyone may have a 1" Columbus Minimal fork, steerer needs to be at least 21cm.
Will add Usomepics once things start taking shape :) T -

So managed pull the frame forks cranks apart over the last few days in between being on call. It’s definitely been used and not looked after. Some solid crap and grease and rust over years and years of build up. Fortunately nothing deep nor even cosmetically too challenging. Frame is straight with no dents nor cracks. Only issue I can see is that the rear dropout screws got completely trashed during delivery so will have to figure out what to do with them.
Used Meguiar’s All Purpose Cleaner which is definitely the best stuff I’ve ever used. Spray on and wipe then wash off after a few minutes. Repeated and the frame has probably lost a few stone of crap. Now leaving it to dry thoroughly before frame-saver, wax and polish, chasing threads and reaming ST.
Also trying to figure out the serial numbers. Definitely made for the Japanese market and think the dating is based on the Japanese year system so have to work that out.. hopefully some pics once I escape work and everything starts coming together a bit more. -

Best APC is definitely Autosmart G101. Sooo versatile, use on car, bike and around the house. Just dilute to required strength.

Slightly envious :-)
Not quite a bike but this was the aim of today's 60 mile cycle. Pretty much NOS snakeboard, proper blast from the past. Used to live on these in the skatepark years ago, I think I'd just snap myself if I tried it these days!!
