• Agreed, so much fun! I won't be using them for a while yet tho, happy enough sliding around ;)
We chose the colour based on my first ever FG, a champagne pink Dave Yates. This one was custom mixed and really kicks in the sun. Cheers. T

  • And Barbie is born. Can't thank Matt enough, cheers man. Just needs a few tweeks and all good. T

  • That looks really good, but the bartape job makes me sad. :(

  • Haha cheers. It's a combo of about three different cut offs ;) I'm just sorting out the cockpit and then it'll be some better stuff

  • Cheers brah!

  • Talbot in Czech Republic. Possibly the first one to make it here? Getting about 100km a week on it and absolutely loving it. Ride is perfect, smooth and stable. Goes like a crazy one when pushed and gathers ridiculous attention. Not really difficult considering the things they ride on here ;)
On another note there are discussions going on with Burls re a disc fast-commuter/winter/audax type bike. Geo based on the Talbots bar a longer wheelbase to fit muddies. All shall be revealed :)

  • Hi Tom, did you get my pm?

  • The ring for the kalavinka?

  • Hey there. It is indeed and looks pretty damn good on it too ;) got a sweet new seatpost and just waiting a DA stem. Also need a new cog.

In other news a new Roberts track has been acquired. Beautifully panto'd all round. Cinelli BB shell. Guerciotti lugs. Will be resprayed a rude pink by fatcreations. Build is gentlemanly. Porteur/sweep back bars, basket, Brooks, coaster brake. Something a bit different.

Burls is in discussion with Burls.

This is gonna be an expensive year. Watch this space!

  • Was it the Roberts track I linked you on the eBay thread?

  • It may have been, cheers ;) I'd had already asked about the TT and serial numbers so was on my radar, couldn't let it go because of all the unique and quite rare details and then you convinced me further ;)!

  • Ah nice. Yeh it did look very very good. Let's seeeee it when you got it :)

  • Aye it was pretty unique, nicest one I've seen in a long while. Needs a champagne pink with glitter spray job IMO :) it's arrived already but I won't be back for another six weeks, gonna be a long slow project. Moving to Chichester after that so fatcreations will be on my front doorstep..

  • Ah Chichester is really nice - enjoy it.

  • Cheers man, good to know. Never been there before. If you're ever down that way then give me a shout. T

  • Big changes are cometh.. Back in the country and an impending job move and hence locker clear out are about to begin.. Frames and everything else bike related will be for sales so keep your eyes open for the thread :) And stable changes are also likely to happen with some interesting and new projects..

  • Winter mode. Yes they're white but I had them so why not use them.. Pretty much also finished bar a few black ti bolt upgrades.

  • That's a lot of setback for a custom frame... lovely frame tho.

  • Hate to be that guy (twat)

But mudguards And no brake, seams like odd priorities.

  • Ha that'd require at least one Sharpie ;)

@Sig_Arlecchino cheers man, loving the frame. I'm not sure even a custom frame could be adapted much more for setback. The ST on this one is at 73deg, if it were less than that the frame would start looking weird and the wheelbase would stretch out. I run the same saddle tip to pedal axle distance on all my bikes, it's what my femurs demand :)

  • Rims aren't machined and don't think I even own brakes that would go on this.. Been riding fixed for 10years odd and never had brakes on my fixes :/ If it gets proper bad the disc'd Moots gets used.. Soon to be replaced by something even better :)

  • Looks brilliant mate, brklz and raceblades has served me well over the last 3 winters in Ldn, just wish I could get something bigger in the frame than 23c. What are the biggest tyres you can squeeze in?

  • Thanks mate, appreciated. Just debating about switching to an Enve seat post, gives a smoother transition.
Rear is 28c, front 25. Makes a big difference tbh especially on the cack roads down here..
