That gusset is a really cool detail. Might be a bit lost on black? Sparkly decals could work with some fairly light colour. Maybe, dunno.

I have a light bike, it looks dirty always.
Forks are matte black, and are not getting painted this time.

This will no longer be ridden as sscx. It will be setup as 1x10 with SRAM s700 hydraulic shifters and a customized SRAM X5 rear mech.

This is my first attempt at a tubeless setup, quite excited about it for the upcoming cx season. Been running clinchers for most races (which is shit if you are a big bloke like me) and tubs for one season, which is a lot of work and expensive, but nice because of no pinch flats.

Were you just going to glue in the threaded insert?

It is not necessary. It is pretty much press fit and unwinding an M5 barrel adjuster doesn't require that much force. I think it will be all right like this. I won't know until I mount the cable.

Iridescent powder coating? I didn't even know that was possible, awesome!

It will. Just had SBC ream and face it, so all I need now is my new Cane Creek 40 headset to arrive and then I will build it up.
