for tubeless tyres I found you have to get the retaining collar on the vale screwed down as much as possible so it pulls the valve down fully. Mine were road tyres so it may act differently but I found most leaking to come from around the valve when trying to pump it up. Once I had used some pliers to really screw that collar down it pumped it really easily.

Sadly the compressor pictured does not have a fitting that works with bicycle valves, and the other compressor which does was feeling a little sad and needed some alone time.
Hopefully it will recover it's equanimity soon.

surprised the workshop hasn't got a core remover; this will allow a much higher instantaneous volume of air into the tyre, and hopefully input rate will be greater than leakage rate, et voila!
lighter fluid is another trick, or butane gas.... if you try these please post pictures of your singed facial hair..
car tyre places initially blow the beads into the rim seat with the core removed, then plunge the core in and fine tune the pressure

A pair of pliers is all you need to remove the core.

Just get tubs.
Tubeless is for knobheads. -
• #107
Just use this instead, empty the whole lots in them in one go.

Decals turned up today, matching wheels (in so far as possible) will happen

Where did you get the decals from?

Having not used a 15mm bolt through system before, is there any reason for me to choose the DT RWS over one of these.
Not massively concerned by weight.

Pick whichever one is easier to adjust so that the leaver is in the right place when closed :)

I can think of a number of compelling reasons not to use the DT Swiss one to be honest - primary amongst them being that I had to order it from the US of A.
Only reason I went for it was to try to tie the wheelset together a little (new matching stickers have also arrived).

Rockshox it is then, ta.

How's the frame coming along?

Did you manage to inflate your tubeless setup ok? I use this method instead of a Compressor and it works a treat
http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/ghetto-tubeless-inflator-total-cost-9pI also use Tesa 4289 strapping tape instead of the branded stans tape (its the same stuff )

I've not tried again, the frame is still hanging in the workshop as customer builds take priority.
This might be finished for Bespoked, but that's a bit up in the air.

What's that Skip? Second from the front you say? It's fallen down the well?

They'll be covered in mud most of the time, no one will see them.

So confusing.
Makes me think

there's an air compressor in the workshop, whop that into them
