Haha, I told you re the mech, have you got a barrel adjuster? if not you've got no hope, after that just make sure it's in the right position with the lines matching up on the big ring. the arts cyclery tutorial is very helpful with it.

Dave's got the right idea. Give up and have a Tyskie

There's some dt ones, but I don't see how they'd help. I watched that video, I don't remember him mentioning one.

Efes draft actually

beer behind the till means business .. which shop is this?

They don't mention it in the video but the guy mentions the tension and re-does the tension by having it in the little ring position. Having an adjuster just makes that step easier, the yaw derailleurs need a load of tension in the cable to work well, when they do work though, they're really good

Is the issue that the mech can't come back far enough inboard?
With the size of the chainstays and the narrow Q of the cranks there isn't a huge amount of room to work with, but I found that 1-1.5mm was plenty of clearance on the NDS between crank and chainstay, allowing you to have a degree of flexibility with the DS.
On a friends SuperSix there is an indentation behind the mech in the seat tube to allow it to come back in further than on the SystemSix.
I got an old SRAM Force front mech shifting fine, so it can be done.

Sorry you felt insulted - there was no insult intended.

I like how the guy in the back look like he's going;
"that's right, work at it, oh yeah".
Then he throw a fiver down your pants as you tuck into an aero position.

urrrrrg I dont want to have to buy new chainrings,
Maybe I should buy your cranks?
-
• #395
I know, but I think cannondale's should have Hollowgram's, just look right imo
If you want, I've got some 53/39 red ring's you can have for £60 if you want though? sell the other rings and spider and you'd probably be evens

• #396
I'd like to keep the praxis rings, I was thinking I could buy your force 22 cranks and swap the rings out. Then I'd also have a spare pair of cranks
-
• #397
what exactly is the issue with the front shifting? Maybe video it or something.
Assume you are on hollowgram praxis / Red yaw?
Which axle are you using?

Sram front shifting is a dick to set up. It's fine once it's there though.
That is all.

SRAM is designed by cats yo.
So 35nm wasn't long enough! We ended up swapping out the bolt from a tektro nutted brake. The problem now is the fucking SRAM yaw front mech. I'll order the actual sram band on to see if that's effecting it.
But it's seriously fucking awkward to set up. Thanks for your help @CleverMike
