That doesn't look like the one on my S6. Mine has a big dome head, with the head being quite large in diameter. I'll measure it when I get home if you like. My whole bike was NOS, so am pretty sure it's original and correct.

Longest sjs sell is 32mm. This is stupid that it's the one thing stopping me riding the bike.

Halfords may have some or you could buy a 105 caliper? Pretty sure mine came with 5 different bolt lengths, up to 40mm. Annoying though, I had the same issue with my CAAD.

I checked in a shimano box in my lbs, came with some extra long ones, longest was 30mm

I'll check my parts bin when I get home.

Only thing that springs to mind is that I may have used the extra long bolt to clear the brake caliper on my girlfriends CX bike when fitting mudguards.
