hope you're going to stick mudguards and rack(s) on it.
-
• #328
Not 100% sure that they're the same. Can always take some pictures tomorrow if you want.
-
• #329
I'm sure I will!
-
• #330
I might be tempted by mudguards actually...

The SRAM one worked fine in the end, thanks though!

Just need to find a longer front break nut now
-
• #333
how long is that stem?
-
• #334
4 metres
-
• #335
Its 130mm. aka euro as fuck
I've gone from a 61cm with a 11omm to a 58cm with a 130mm, the saddle will be going up a bit and I will have my desired effect of a lower front end.
If it proves too back braking I'll step it back to a 120mm, but stretching will help.

The angle makes it look like a 150mm stem.
-
• #337
This might give a better angle

Ah the search for the elusive Cannondale front brake nut.
Medium ultegra 6800 nut works in my premium slice fork.

How about 110mm stem; layback and trad reach/drop bars? (or 100mm even)
Of course after the tumblr, insta pics ..
And if you have downsized a frame size wouldnt you need spacers along with a long stem?
-
• #341
130mm stems are where its at!

You are right that shimano nuts work fine on Premium+, I use one on my R900 with P+ and 7800 calliper. They don't work nearly as well on System Six forks unfortunately. I went through the same process a couple of months ago building mine.

yeah, stupid cannondale forks needing weird nuts... I ended up using a slightly too long nut with a small washer between nut and the back of the fork. a bodge but it works. Wouldn't recommend for this though!

Wut? Don't even go there. He's clearly after the drop for tops, hoods and drops.
-
• #345
Fair. Given sprinter etc. Internet bike usually means just hoods ..

Got my rims from a seller in swansea
I'm conflicted about this, I loved that bike.
I hope Spotter enjoys it as much as I did.
