David Millar's arm after a massive pile up in the 2012 Tour, it does look like a tattoo

I thought Tao's previous team used him more as a GC/climbing prospect than a potential classics rider? Maybe they can set him loose in the Ardennes?

The first one looks like you had a good night. The second, yowl. Dem some deep holes in there

He's been pretty tasty in the junior editions of Paris-Roubaix, thought they might chance him over the cobbles. But no, Sky's squad for OmLoop and Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne is:
Michal Golas, Christian Knees, Gianni Moscon, Salvatore Puccio, Luke Rowe, Ian Stannard, Danny van Poppel, Lukasz Wisniowski
For some reason I thought Knees had moved on.

How would a rusty barrier legs cause a very clean cut like that though?
-
• #9712
anything is possible. I cut my finger on a perfectly smooth lamppost once...

The bottom of the leg, which looks like it's sticking up, looks pretty sharp.
If I was him I'd get a tetanus shot just in case.

It does!

FWIW, I think rider safety is paramount and the measures the riders proposed about discs having blunt edges and protective covers should be implemented before discs are allowed in road racing.
However, the hysteria and rush to blame discs for all injuries is weakening their case.

What were you doing to offend it?
Well it's all shits and giggles till someone loses a limb. Looking forward to the 'tense' opening week of the TDF

Please let it not be a barrier leg, that would cause me endless problems.
-
• #9719
Did they start to take bets on causes of injuries as well?

Yep bullshit

Pointless armchair predictions for the weekend?
I'm putting a small wager on GVA for Omloop and Kristoff for KBK.

I wonder how much money/pressure manufacturer's are throwing at the UCI to stop them dropping the bike weight limit. Knock a kilo off and disc brakes become pretty much irrelevant.

Boonen to break the omloop duck
Demare or Sagan for kbk -

Not as much as specilized are paying kittel and boonen.

That's bullshit though. Bikes with discs will be slightly heavier, but not by much.
Yeah Thomas was saying the other day the pull of the Ronde was strong but he wasn't going to ride it to stay on course for the Giro, hence my little strop.
Really hope Stannard and Rowe can ignite things. Will Tao get a run out? Just trying to find Sky's classics squad on their website
