According to Shimano’s claimed weights, the R9150 Di2 group for rim brake is 2051 grams, 50 grams lighter than 9070. The R9100 mechanical group for rim brake is 2097 grams, four grams lighter than R9000

For disc brakes, Shimano is claiming a group weight of 2389 grams for the 9170 group, and 2445 grams for the 9120 mechanical shifting group.

You also need to beef up the fork and frame to handle the additional strain put on them by discs. But then you can save weight at the rim, as you don't need a braking track.

Yeah but it's grams not kilograms we're talking about for those changes.

That's all well and good, but the Pro's will complaint that discs take the joy out of the road bike experience. #Ameybait

I was doing a little trolling. That recent docu in the states basically insinuated Sky were using motors because their Pinarellos were 800 grams heavier than the rest and that was the claimed weight of that chap's motorised wheels.

Literally everyone was else 'err, Pinarellos'

Through the shoes as well, Doull had two small cuts on his foot because of it.

He was there for his neo-pro season. I think a lot of questions have been asked but nothing untoward has ever come to light, bar Boonen's use of cocaine.
