In other news, Pöstlberger was impressive again today keeping hold of his yellow.
Interesting shake up at Ineos as well - Porte on a mad one, like his Tour TT last year, but Tao was a bit of a disappointment.

So was Pidcock hit by a driver or not? Did he hit a stationary obstacle, like a parked car?
Lots of speculation in the relevant T****** thread, including innovative new verb forms like 'was runned over' and 'he has been hitten', proving the increasing international appeal of British cycling stars, as well as a bit of one-upbikeship by someone who broke his bike into more parts than Tom managed.

Timmy Mallet loves riding bikes. He might be a better commentator
Strongly disagree with the word 'might'. Suggest 'would'.

Someone medical once speculated at work that usain Bolt had very big hands due to taking certain enhancing medicines at a young age. Maybe Horner took some too? Though it didn’t work on the rest of him

Use my name, like you would if we were making sweet love while analysing a sprint.
Like this @WillMelling? How's the carefully-curated Following page? Still beautifully curated and pristine?

Why are the ITV4 highlights on so late? I guess they only get the footage from ASO way after the race finishes (edit: although it sounds like Ned was commenting on a live stream). Means I’m catching up days later and getting most of it from Lantern Rouge on YouTube and Spotify on my phone. No bad thing as it’s excellent and just gets better. Missing Benji after the Giro already.
Didn’t LR do some TV work last year?

It's on ITV hub at 8pm.

Thanks for that. Looks like I can watch it straight through Sky too.

Why are the ITV4 highlights on so late?
The French Open tennis taking place at the same time and taking priority in the schedule.

Chris Horner's hands..
Hence the phrase "horny-handed". It's the prehensile thumbs.

Anyone else watching the Movistar second series?! Even more dysfunctional than the first. They admitted to wiping GoPros on the stages where the directors totally fucked up and didn’t want you to see the in-car footage. Riders coming back to the car asking for direction and they’re telling them to ask Mas and Valverde what they want to do. It’s a total shit show.

we just started watching last night. only done episode 1 so far but even that had mas saying valverde was leader and valverde saying mas was leader (this was mid-TDF too) so stoked for the other madness now. cracking bunch of lads

Team mates sitting up to block on the last corner is literally a criterium move
I really hope the Tour is live on ITV again (even though I'm paying for Eurosport).
