I'll watch the stage later but I'm always surprised that GC teams don't work a lot harder on windy days to keep their guys in the front of the bunch. Every year some team (frequently Movistar) gets caught out with their leader pissing around at the back when Ineos/Quickstep/whoever smash it at the front and smash the race into pieces. I know some teams scout big open sections ahead of time and target them either to move up or to push the pace and create splits but why don't they all?

That was an interesting stage, considering it was billed as pretty much a non-event in terms of GC

Landa, Pinot and Fuglsang should be getting sent to bed with no dinner, that's for sure.
