You get a lot more support from Scherrit than I do. Call yourself an amateur?
-
• #1253
I pay him for coaching and mechanical work. So, yeah, I'm an unsponsored amateur.
There's a fucking big difference between the Dowsetts and Wiggos and me when it comes to race support... and that's the fact that neither of them have a team as good as mine. :)
Let's see Brailsford stand by the side of a road for 24 hours handing up bottles and listening to me whinge.

Can imagine Brailsford pretending to find it amusing whilst internally seething. Forehead vein throbbing, eyes cold and dead.

If it was 29 ODB then I would give Sir Dave a pass.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Yeah sorry for the incessive questioning. But, unless you're commenting on the typos, I don't follow.

It's Oliver. He's definitely commenting on the typos.

I'm not sure I could ride an hour. Not in one day. Perhaps in stages.
-
• #1263
How's your prep coming along for the New Oxford Street ride?
-
• #1264
Did someone say Stages

• #1265
"paint me like one of your French girls"
-
• #1266
I live near sir dave, but have never seen that ostentatious POS about.
-
• #1267
It's just wrong for him. I'd have put him in something much more efficiently fit for purpose. A 911 RS maybe.
-
• #1268
911 = Engine in the wrong place.

Ugh this is like seeing your teachers on their day off. Would have assumed he'd permanently be driving around in a team car, or a Land Rover Discovery complete with rolling road in the back.

Getting the aerodynamic profile right for 0° yaw (track) is kindergarden stuff - guess that why. Weight has come down quite a bit though.

A pair of disc wheels has appeared for sale on the UKSI page, so looks like BC have developed their own magic, extra round wheels...

super narrow versions for pursuit presumably and regular for sprint?
-
• #1275
Presumably. Didn't realise the pursuit bikes were narrower spacing, wonder if they played with q factor as well? @xavierdisley?
Steve Collins is not Dowsett's coach, Mark Walker is (who also coaches Helen Wyman, Ian Field and a few other cx'ers).
Collins is a co-owner of Athlon Sports and a mate of Dowsett's.
Lazy journalism at work.
