Just been walking the dog, and some guy is currently making a new attempt on the record, by doing laps of Parliament Hill running track in the pitch black without lights. Fair play for losing the extra weight, but reckon Brad's safe for now.

Millar was absolutely shit faced after the the hour.

He was jumping up and down on the roof of Dave B's Bentley in the team area as people were egging him on and chanting "DAVID! DAVID! DAVID!" And taking pictures..

Moaning about how involved BC were with the effort whilst Dowsett's was an independent effort without any support of the national federation and the customised bars and one off bike etc.

Yeah, I watched him jump on the bonnet and strike a pose like a lads car mag.

I've not done a proper attempt, it was a way to make a point about Dowsett having a bunch of sponsors and his team help him unlike an actual amateur who really doesn't have any support.
