  • ^^ & ^ Ditto. But I will do it :p

  • Am I the only one genuinely not feeling the two tone? Feels very NAHBS showbikey.

    I guess that's the purpose?

  • Nah, looks fresh

  • Who cares it's not even your bike

  • Who pissed in your cereal?

  • Some hippy who didn't even care :C

  • Headset fitted after getting the frame faced. Slightly delayed in everything else as sorting out another bike too.

Need to buy a chain and then fit it altogether tomorrow.

Regarding the two tone. I know it doesn't need it but I don't need another bike and I got one.

  • looks so lush indoors

  • Admirable build. The two tone is bad ass. Looks well and will suit the build. Top job on the pedals. Bike should turn out grand.

  • interesting thread, could have chosen better matching colours though, but who cares? still nice

  • Slight delay as I have been working a lot so didn't have time to get everything together. Logistics of a small flat means I can only have two bikes built up at any one time.

I'm wanting to get a full shot of all three of my track bikes together before I disassemble my Reminton for the winter.

I'm getting the wheels rebuilt on my Nagasawa which should be ready tomorrow.

Then I'll build up the De Rosa take a self indulgent picture of the bikes together and then hibernation for Reminton.

  • What happened to the Colnago?

  • It's in a box. All wrapped up and for sale. It was too way to small. Always wanted a Colnago but in the end it just didn't work out.
The deep section rims didn't look right on the Nagasawa so they're getting swapped for TB14s.
Half price H+Son deep rims if anyone's interested.

  • Fair does... wasn't fully sold by those rims... ha.

  • Been busy with work so this project took a back seat for a while. Had to get a new drive side cup for the bottom bracket as the original was pitted. All installed now. Finishing it off tomorrow.

  • Looks mint.

  • That tape in natural sunlight will be blingin'. Gonna contrast the blue nicely I think

  • page 4 product placement was a masterclass in marketing !

  • This is one stunning build bradybrady...

Question RE cranks: you oven cleaner off the anodisation right, then polish them up with wet and dry etc etc, Once they are uber polished, how much maintenance do they take to keep them that shiny? (I have some cranks I want to do this to).

I mean, this is clearly not a bike that will be left outside all winter but if you keep it clean and inside how long is it before you have to polish them up again?

  • The wait is killing me! Can't wait to see it done.

  • They last a pretty long time. I did it to a Cinelli stem a few years back, which I've since sold, but I didn't have to repolish or touch it for the two years that I kept it on a bike in my shed.

It would be a much smaller autosol only job if / when you had to do it.

  • It is all done. Just need to take some decent pictures
