Strong ride by Sebastian Henao too - he's pacing Uran in.

A classic day for me sat on the sofa watching that. Feel properly drained. Epic indeed
-
• #605
Well, epic stuff from Quintana and Hesjedal, but the post partum tonight will be interesting.
team DS's never got word about the so called neutralised descent they say on Belgian TV. nothing will happen.
-
• #606
^^eurosport said they thought some ds's heard about it but others hadn't.
-
• #607
Yeah that was tiring!
-
• #608
What a race. Quintana has a huge lead now
-
• #609
That was an astonishing ride from Quintana.
-
• #610
Soooo.... how long until the sprinters get in, do you recon?
-
• #611
I wonder how Bouahnni is getting on?
-
• #612
Probably very familiar with the door handle of the team car by now.
-
• #613
^yeah I bet his rear brake was giving him a lot of trouble
-
• #614
Quintana leads by 1'41".
Wow.
-
• #615
Hope the race jury fines Kiserlovski for rolling down his legwarmers in a manner likely to cause offence.

Hugely impressive ride by Ryder today, seconds off a man who must weigh 1/3 less his body weight. Moar watts.
Also, how crazy to ride into the top ten on the first /serious/ mountain stage after such an ordeal two weeks ago. No team support, just rides out of his skin.
Amaze.

Battle for 3rd is going to be interesting...
-
• #618
Now imagine if Garmin hadn't crashed in the TTT now, where would Ryder be, second overall?
-
• #619
A case of softly, softly catchy monkey the big little Quin, hasn't shown much form so far this year, had an uneventful start to the Giro and now he's just smashed it. Oof.
-
• #620
Why aren't you all working instead of watching this? Get a job :P
(I'm just jealous).
Can anyone work out why Eurosport are showing the Giro highlights at 11 though? They are showing the tour of fucking Aberystwyth at 10 tonight, why isn't that after the Giro?
-
• #621
I bet Nairo's name is mud with the grupetto right now; half the field has about 10 minutes left to make the time cut
-
• #622
Streams at work and the cyclingnews ticker got me through this horrendous, hungover day.
And Eurosport scheduling is 'fluid' so check again later and it may have changed, or they'll simply show it when they said they were showing The Women's Amateur Youth Inaugural Football Cup for the Hirsuitely Challenged.

25 riders just came in at 40 minutes down, might be another 40 still out there

That was fun. Can't wait to see the highlights. Quintana is a bit special when it comes to these kind of climbs.
Awesome day! Go Ryder.
