  • Nice wheels.
It's shaping up to be a very classy ride.

Have you selected your finishing kit?

  • ime - challenge tyres are incredibly puncture prone :(

Wheels look really nice though Dov.

  • wonky Thomson seat post though :( I am disappoint.

  • Inline posts are for people who's bikes don't fit.

  • Had the p-r and like dammit had noting but punctures. Now i have the strada bianca and have very few punctures (atleast in comparison). They are 60g heavier or somtin like that.

Tires can be a very individual experience so perhaps yours are bombproof!
    They do ride very nice!

That is the exact same tire but 3mm wider?

  • Cracky stem too, matchy matchy's still awesome though.

  • MTB finishing isnt my taste. But meh.

I prefer to match bars to stem, as opposed to seatpost to stem. As they are clamped together. Especially Deda.

  • The X2 is not even a very good stem. I like the look of it though.

  • My thinking is that Deda OS bars and clamps are 31.7mm. Not the 31.8mm standard that everyone else uses. No idea what affect this has TBH.

  • In my experience. None.

  • Furrymuff.

It comes from rounding down a fraction of a mm rather than up. The size of deda handlebars is not any different than other brands (manufacturing tolerances notwithstanding, although I doubt this has any effect either).

    +1

....but then again I guess it suits the USA/Prolly theme.

    Why not go full Thomson?

  • Those bars are not a great shape for me.

  • That is the exact same tire but 3mm wider?

Im not sure exactly what the difference is but in practise for me the diff in punctures are night n day. Have had 2 since i (lots of city miles) got em so they are okay whilst p-r was a joke.

  • They look the same as Deda RHM from that angled pic.

  • Inline posts are for people who's bikes don't fit.

Now I know what is wrong with my bike.

  • Inline posts are for people who's bikes don't fit.

    BOOM!

Just a shame that they don't put the setback in the clamp though. I think that is Dan's point.

True but there are more attractive lay back posts. Just go full deda? Thomson stuff is for mtb and skidders. That deda zero post you sorted is really nice.

  • What Sam said.

  • I would have gone full Deda zero. But meh. Details.

This is going to be lovely.
