Waaaayyy too much $$$ , Indra: What is the full story between you and Miche?
Saw this just now, :) 130BCD toom can easily swap the chainring that is currently on teh Tec 9's
Just hope they are 1-1/8.

It's not just me and Miche, Miche are just not very good and you can get way better for the money.

Fair enough, lol. Hopefully next week, I will be able to cop this 50T chainring 130bcd and put it on my current cranks.
P.S. Anyone selling a lockring? :)

I'll have a look tomorrow, if I have one spare you can have it for free.
What's up with the current one?

Thanks! You on the St. Paul's ride on Sat?

Yeah man, I think me and Sven are leading that.
I definitely have one that's pretty chewed up but might have a nicer one somewhere.

-ooh, what happened to Elra?
-
• #336
Nothing, he's coming but we sorted the route out* it basically goes quite south west as he's gotta be in richmond like 7pm if we're still out.
*We talked about it but we're not organised.

Beigels at some point.

• #340
Okay, cool - should be there on Saturday. Friend's paintballing thing got cancelled :(.
Currently working out a silver chainring would look like with black crank arms.
Any decent looking combinations people have found?

• #341
Although there's a solution to this uglyness for 3.50

• #342
Is it quite sad that I find this quite funny?
-
• #343
Nah, it is funny :p.

Bought a rear wheel of my own, no more sharing bro's rear wheel. Ignore the front wheel, I just put it on this morning to try and get as close to 8.0 kg as possibly, got to 8.1kg. :)
The plan:
Buy (and fit it to the cranks) that 50T chainring I posted here a few days ago on (hopefully) Tuesday.
Fit the 19T cog I got from Ollie (cheers man!) on the rear wheel I bought today. (Hopefully it fits)
When all the fitting is done, pop a new chain on the crankset and enjoy 19 skid patches and a lighter ratio.

Looking good man!

Thanks Jan! No where near finished though. :)

Turns out the 19T cog Ollie gave me doesn't actually fit my hub, now in search of another 19T cog as I am somewhat fond my knees so riding 50/16 is definitely out of the question.

• #349
Are you coming ride tonight? I've def got an 18 and maybe a 19 I can dig out.
-
• #350
Ahh shit! :( Nah I won't be able to make the ride.
I'll probably cycle to St Pauls at like 7, collect the cog and head home. Riding 50/16 is no joke.
Actually .. I might have just found a suitable 50t chainring.
