  • Sure do, served me well this summer, clocked a good few miles & bested some important pb's! Thanks for asking !

Gonna be it's last summer on the road do I'm afraid. Planning on disassembling within the month and placing upon 'le wall' !

  • Does anyone have any colnago saddles for sale? Cheers

  • Does anyone have any colnago saddles for sale? Cheers

I'm afraid this is the wrong place to ask for things like that. ;-)

  • In the colnago thread, really??? :s

  • wait untill you have one yourself and you will see what I mean. ;-)

I have this little ugly thing and I can't even find the courage to sell it

  • I love it ;-)

  • Nice! I've got two already :/

  • Well I have just changed the seatpost on my Master Olympic
I have been after a record Ti post for a while & one came up ,beforehand was sporting a colnago panto post , opinions on the two

  • Without doubt: the Ti post. The panto should be on a seventies or eighties bike (like my Super "Saronni" or my '86 Master ;-)).

    Wim

  • My thoughts too, might part with it but not sure

  • Nice colours btw.

  • Thanks , lampre M Fondrest era

  • A Master Olympic is what I'm missing. This colour is one of my favourites.

  • I can guess that your internet history is going to be full up with 'Colnago Master Olympic' for the next few days you Colnago Junkie ;-)

  • They're both lovely posts for sure but have to agree the record one looks much much nicer on the bike. And have to agree with Wim except that I think the Panto one would look terrible on his but lovely on mine

  • This junkie ran out of money. Poor old ladies that I'll have to rob this weekend to finish at least some of my projects...

It's all because of where I grew up, I saw guys like Fondriest, Museeuw and other (Nago-)riders climb the road where I lived as a youngster. They all impressed me so hard, I now want all the bikes from that period.

Maybe a better option would be to rob the postman that brings their pension money...

  • You have some nice bikes Wim , I really like your green Master with modern campag . Also if you don't like the neuron look you just got I'd really like one of those , 57 square :)
Also convinced on the Ti seatpost on the Master Olympic so will probably part with the super record panto seatpost at some point

  • Thanks, @MRI

I will keep in mind you like the Look too but, just like the green Master Extra Light (equipped with Sram Force), that bike will become one of my "competition bikes" (I love to ride a cyclosportive a year - this year I took the MXL to his homeland to ride the Gran Fondo Fausto Coppi)

  • Yes that's the one Wim love the colour
I ride my silver master with chorus 11 most , something about the feel of steel bikes I love

  • I sold every non-steel roadbike I had and I don't think I will ever return to aluminium or carbon.

  • I don't have anything aluminium any more but I did keep my carbon road bike purely to ride in the wet. Most of my pals are the opposite and use their steel bikes as beaters for communting and bad weather training/riding and keep their carbon one/s for best.

  • @JusCos I lied, I still have one "winter bike" and that one is aluminium (cx bike).

  • I broke my 1st gen C40's seat clamp today. Does anyone know what seat clamp size should I look for as a replacement?
