    Not flush just stupid.

  • jeebus brady is flush... did tom brady move to london and went to ride fixeh?!

    Haha great comment, rep'd.

I think it looks pretty sweet, defo yankee HHSB.

  • This arrived this morning from Aspire Velotech. No word on custom charges yet, but sure that Fed Ex will be sending a bill soon 😔

Will fit later and take some proper snaps

  • looks like you got lucky.. apparently they cant force you to pay for private imports. thats why nornally you pay to get it released. even if your invoiced, dont pay and itll go away. true story, theyre talking about it in the look what i got in the post thread

  • A lot of people on here have strong opinions about what you can and can't do with a bike.

    Ignore them.

    You beat me to it

  • Stem arrived today, it's so fricking awesome. Real heavy though.
Will fit headset and stem tomorrow and take better pictures. New brake should be coming shortly. Then I need to earn some more dollar and get me some wheels

  • That stem looks wicked, looking forward to seein it on the bars

  • Can't wait to see what you have in store for us when it comes to wheels!

I'd really like to see polished up shamals or ventos laced to Mack hubs!

No can do with the Mack hubs. Sorry. Saw this Phil Wood on sale at Kinoko cycles which just arrived 20 minutes ago.
So going with Phils laced to polished TB14s

  • Ti fitted and looks a lot better than the Alu version.

  • Brake arrived today and I put all the front end together. Working towards the wheels now.

  • So good!

  • Picked up seatpost from Kinokos yesterday. Nitto S84.

Stuck it in along with my Brooks Swift Philidelphia Polo Championship red saddle.

Next post will probably be the wheels and full build. Not for a while though.

  • This is the ultimate hhsb

  • too many brakes and brooks to be the ultimate HHSB, but it's definitely heading there

  • jhhsb (japanese hiphophipsterbikes) ha!

  • didnt we agree on yankeehhsb?

  • Picked up seatpost from Kinokos yesterday. Nitto S84.

Do you actually need that much setback?

  • didnt we agree on yankeehhsb?

    Yeah, why not.

  • Do you actually need that much setback?

Tell me about it. Really nice seatpost, shame about the setback. I've pushed the saddle forward as much as possible and it seems right for me as I have a long torso.

  • ahhh. so you made component choice on looks without thoroughly considering function?

youre earning hhsb points by the truckloads!

  • He he!

Whatever you do, no matter what it looks like, the most important thing is to ride the sweet Jesu out of it - rain or shine.

    YES. Yes. Yes.

  • looks right - rides right. And it definitely looks right.

  • But as Fahrgestell says - shred that mofo.
But she certainly looks very well balanced.
Like the sort of bike that you would get off just grinning and then stare at smiling while you drink your coffee and then realise you are drinking it really fast so you can get back on it again.

  • too many brakes and brooks to be the ultimate HHSB, but it's definitely heading there

Brooks is only borrowed from this bike. Brake is necessary as my knees aren't what they used to be.

Getting a black Concor or a Kashimax Aero for it. Still not sure.
