Yes, a little progress but so busy with work not a chance to do much.
Decided on a Kashimax Five Gold saddle. Bought a matching top tube protector too. The fancy Sugino chainring bolts arrived from Japan, and cost a small fortune to be released from customs. Wheels will be built end of January though as I don't have the time to sort it out until then.
I have put the Paul Brake and the other Chris King headset on my Gazelle and it looks great.

Wheels being built. Ready next week. Wondering if anyone uses Veloflex Master with regular skidding and how they hold up.
-
• #80
Just. No. Unless you're a millionaire!
-
• #81
Veloflex Master are the worst tyres ever for everyday use... I used to get a punture almost every other day... now on Paselas.. none in 6 months..

Okay. Thought so. Anyone recommend any 23c gum walls for skidding and London's pot holes.
I prefer slicks
-

michelin makes a tire that is quite heavy duty and cheap i belive is called dynamic sport
-
• #84
Buy luganos and skid less?
-

Panaracer paselas. Can't recommend them enough. Not that slick but not too massive.

+1; all you want from durability and looks. also went for them after having the same search criteria. quite good price too

You got the Michelin Dynamic Classics aswell. They cost fuckall - less than the paselas, are tanwalled and have some mass to them.

Wait, you can get paselas in 23c? I am a big fan of paselas but I didn't know that. Interesting for my plans for a fixieskidder. I haven't found they skidded much in 28c in the past, but my madskillz are better now.

Stem arrived today, it's so fricking awesome. Real heavy though.
Will fit headset and stem tomorrow and take better pictures. New brake should be coming shortly. Then I need to earn some more dollar and get me some wheelsDO fucking want.

Believe those are the rigid version? The folding ones are lighter and has lower rolling resistance. They're about £35 a piece though.

The parts on this frame are stressing me out a little bit
