I'm using Chromoplastics at the moment and they're good.

Apollo. How are they? I can't stand race blade because of all the rubbing.
Crud catchers are designed to rub a bit. My Raceblades have never rubbed

I got them on mine today; did you cut them towards the seat tube?

yeah I chopped about 3 inches off it, you can see how close my tyre is to the frame.

Until you lock/lean your bike. They're flipping useless ATMO.

This looks like the way to do it.

^ha! just noticed that... I'm sure she understands... she used to play pro handball, so she knows what it's like to focus
all* most of your energy on a hobbyriding this more than anything else currently (except for commuting) can't get enough of it.

SKS crud racers...
I'll sell them to you if you want :) not using them since I have the Surly...
Nuts, I can't deny that modern groupset would work well, but I really can't fault the 9 sp Record Ti at all. IMO looks great and works well. what else do you want?

This.
I'm gonna do some work on this bike in the coming weeks/months, to get it perfect. No rush, but I do have a checklist of sorts....
Looking for a 27.2 Record Ti seatpost.
Gonna swap the 42cm bars for 44cm once they're back in stock (anyone wanna buy the 42s?)
Need suggestions for some nice Italian tyres - 23-25c, light, puncture resistant, grippy etc.
Better brakepads
Also on the look out for a Ti Rolls, if anyone sees one about pls dibs for me!
-
• #347
Bill has a Ti-Rolls on his polo biek (no joke!)
Might grab the 42 bars off ya, how many dorra?
-
• #348
Brakepads an obvious choice, that'd be the blue Swissstop, since you already got a everyday road bike.
Tyres, Vittoria Open Pave in 25, again I wouldn't worry too much about puncture resistant as it's not your commuting bike, either comfortable supple fast tyres, or frim puncture resistant tyres.

Interested in the bars too, may need posting or may be in London soon

given these are selling for about £40 posted from SJS, and they've only ever been used on this and never crashed etc I'd be after £30
