Is it my imagination, or do you use a lot of different shops / mechanics for different jobs? If yes, why?

If you find one place you trust, stick with them. Alternatively, maybe different shops have different specialisms?

Alex at Fitzrovia built these- very swiftly, and he's walking distance from the office.

And these are 11 speed Shimano Novatec hubs, 24 2 cross rear and 1 cross front.

The tube should arrive at Matt's workshop tomorrow from Serotta/Saratoga Frameworks (as they now call themselves).

I ordered decals at the same time, and Saratoga have emailed me the precise paintcode for the painter to use, so this might go together fairly quickly.

The wheels are a bit of an odd one in some respects- they're 20mm carbon which I wanted, but clinchers, which I didn't.

I need a pair of handlebars, some bar tape and a groupset once it's back from paint and then it'll be rolling.
