Ridley might be for sale soon.
Crosser- undecided, I ride it so seldom. It is huge fun though.
-
• #205
Giving up on tarck or got your eye on something else?
-
• #206
I've not really thought it through- however my hall is full of bikes.
-
• #207
I reckon you'd miss the Ridley, although you do seem cursed, that whatever you build turns out too nice... Can't believe that started out as the "beater" langster.
-
• #208
Hah, true. I just enjoy making stuff, including bikes.
What would be a fair price for the Ridley?
-
• #209
... what about the kitchen?
Complete or F&F?

Complete
-
• #211
Much.
Surely would be better off splitting? although more hassle, finding someone with that much cash and of manly proportions, who likes red, and plastic tubs... could be a challenge.

Serotta - New age fun with a vintage feel
I get why you've done it, but its a shame you had to go with 6800.
-
• #213
Please for the love of god don't put the 6800 cranks on it.
-
• #214
6800 cranks are an improvement over the rest of the shimano line
-
• #215
Still Shitmano though.

This going to look great! How much was customs?
-
• #218
Sweet. I still like the idea of trying to make one from scratch though - will save that for when someone is completely screwed.
-
• #219
Pro-tip: don't leave a steel bike in a damp cellar for a year.
-
• #220
oof. damaged or just surface?
-
• #221
Just surface - steerer is 853, blades are carbon, dropouts are titanium, so a fairly complicated fork in terms of materials, but Matt says it'll scrub up ok.
-
• #222
stop taking up matts time god dammit! i want my bike!
-
• #223
With all this work are you not tempted to have the steerer lengthened and turn it into a 1" threadless?
-
• #224
I missed the bit about new fork, why's that?
-
• #225
Old fork is staying, 1" threaded in order to use the titanium Serotta stem.
quidco it for extra 3%
Full groupset? or rotor + 6800?
