Kinoko have a shipment of RB010AA's coming in next month for anyone who wants a pair. I thought it was them too but the angles are a bit bigger and the sweep is more defined than the RB0010AA's.

RB-002 like Rodolfo said (or RB-001 which are the same except different clamp size) are quite a different shape to RB-010 and are pretty similar to syntace stratos I think. I love RB-002.
Hubjub are supposed to be getting some in at the end of the month.

On the points about DA hubs needing more maintainance, can you not get weather proof seal thingys to protect them?
If you can then the difference in maintainance is then just the pros/cons of cup and cone vs cartridge bearings. In which case provided you check and service them you shouldn't have any problems.

Brake not attached?
-
• #88
rad frame, looking forward to seeing it built up

It appears the build isn't going to be as long term as i expected. Any suggestions for seatposts? I'm not going for an all NJS (or near enough) bike, and i'd like to save a bit of weight here and there. Any suggestions for a seatpost? And spokes and nipples for that matter.
-
• #90
A nitto post would be nice.
I'd suggest letting your wheel builder choose the spokes. Sapim do every spoke (and length) you could want without DT's inflated prices.

7410 seatpost obviously. or if you are really loaded a NJS 6600 one, nicest seatpost ever imo

Brake not attached?
No. Not atm. Something seems to missing in the dia compe levers. The cable housing seems to go all the way through, when you pull it

ouuuuh jens you little hijacking git. feckin team seatpost and cranks; well jelly
.i think this thread shows purple bikes are raddest. i have a nearnjs bar cockpit, frame and sensible bits graham weigh which im not gonna add to the thread for the sake of not derailind.
but purple bikes are raddest tho..

Hubs have been ordered. I've put up an ad for the parts I need at the moment.

I'm going secondhand for the majority of the cockpit, some of the drive train and the rims. -

Need some rim suggestions. I've read very good things about the TB-14 rims but i'm also attracted to the archetypes. Of course the TB-14's are more inline with my frames but the pull of (somewhat) deep v's is quite strong. I'm also quite tempted with one SL42 and one Formation Face, undecided about colour though.
Something like this:
-
• #96
personally on your frame i'd go for polished tb14's
-
• #97
+1
do it classic. the silver sparkle and decals need silver matchingz.. -
• #98
The h+sons deep vs are heavy and narrow next to tb14 or Archetypes.
The graphics on the Archetypes are a bit shit. I think they were going for something like the lettering on these Nemesis rims and screwed up.

Moment over, I will be sticking with the TB-14's; which I'll be ordering tonight. Will get them built then order tyres, and that's the wheels done.

Rims ordered, I assume I leave the spoked and nipples to the wheel builder it do I buy them separately? If so any suggestions?
Rb010 aa, impossible to find now, likewise for the stratos', hubjub did have some of the nittos for a bit but they got sold out before a description was even added
