@hippy Air New Zealand just opened their discount airfares LHR>LAX £449 return during Nov., but need to book in next few weeks. Found them good last year, same deal.

Already booked with BA for about 200 more than that but flying into San Diego and out of San Fran. Thanks though.

Reading all of this stuff makes me wish I had ridden it again this year (although there was no chance), it brought back so many (good) memories of 2011.

Still, I've got 15 years until I'm the age of the average Audaxer, so plenty of time for future ones.

That's me. Hi everyone, I'm new here.

Really was a beautiful event. The people and the route. Maybe next time I'll try to go under 50h, shouldn't be too hard to take at least some of the time off from how I rode now. Or 90h while enjoying more wine. Shame we'll have to wait for 4 years. But you seem to have some interesting rides in the calendar in the UK. And then there's some 1200 in Russia not far from the border next summer.

First few controls had to chase and caught supported bunch. Ate chocolate croissants. Ate more chocolate croissants. Cruised and then they were all gone. Was happy for nightfall as less waving. Everybody now supported him at controls. Annoyed another German by jumping a food queue. Forgot to take a baguette. Took another caffeine gel. Arrived at Velodrome. Will do RAAM.
