OK, refund received from ADR.
have to give them a credit for 'eventually' testing it themselves and admitting that the frame doesnt work with Campagnolo Record PIsta.
in my view all too little and too late but better late than never.
loads of people are very happy with their frames - especially TT meaning they must be decent.
However I have spotted a guy on the Reading Velodrome riding one of ADR frames and had a chat. What he said is that he is 'fairly' happy with the frame but wouldnt buy it again.
Lesson? yes, stick to big names even if they cost more.

What size are you after? Workmate is selling a 57.

There were at least three in the Masters. One I believe won 44-45 scratch? Or at least the rider did.
Mine is sitting in a box in my dining room waiting to be built for the last few weeks so I'll report back when it's together.

you can order DF4's now if you send them an email
£1250 -
• #89
That's not too bad considering the DF3 is £999.
-
• #90
not sure what would I be paying more for - that ordering DF4 rather than DF3...
apart from marketing trick are they better?
-
• #91
are they better?
Depends how you define 'better'. Will it make your times better? Probably not unless you are already competing at a high level.
-
• #92
theres no marketing trick, it probably uses an newer carbon fibre layup. steel was still being 'upgraded' in the 80's and 90's
Ive always wondered why Look pro track frames always use fancy 'blocky' unaero stems, considering the effort they put into everything else

Damn short people get all the deals.
And tall people with poor flexibility and silly upright riding positions who buy sprint frames to ride on the road, them too.
and I would go for a wheels from Jim (varno) anyway
