I can rep him, I feel suitably ashamed

Just catching up... Wow, a sprint stage with some tension! Cav looked proper ruined afterwards.

Why has Skydancer painted his face like that?

Flat stage, few bumps at the end, showers all day, wind coming from the right at about 10-15mph. Sestriere tomorrow.
I reckon this will be a precession.

Odds on another Cav stage win then?
Will be In lmnh to watch. (Say hello... ill be wearing a forum cap and the usual Italian flag face paint) -

Ryder has pulled out and it's pissing down again

I think a few people will be pleased that Bouhanni has pulled out. He's a fucking liability in the last 200yards.
Might mean Matt Goss can grab a 3rd instead of his customary 4th as well.
Can't see Wiggins signing on.

Wiggins has dropped out

Aye, a shame, but the right decision. Another day in torrential rain isn't gonna help if you're already ill.

This is more of a challenge than yesterday's stage - the final few climbs are intended to break up the sprint trains and give attackers a chance. That said, given the weather and the length of the stage, a break might get 10 minutes and not be chased down as everyone knows if it comes to a sprint Cavendish will win, and there are two very tough days in the mountains coming up next.

A relief for those torn between nationalism (who still have Cav) and those 'brainwashed slaves to Murdoch's empire' -

Sky so should have taken Stannard to the Giro, he would have smashed it up in those conditions. Oh and the Brownlee brothers too. Feel for Wiggins and Hesjedal, must be horrible to abandon. I do call bullshit on rule no. 9. Maybe take it for a stage or two but stage after stage after stage.
That does make Nibali and Cadel hard bastards though, but we knew that.

Is the Giro thread the new Football thread?
-
• #1247
There's plenty of bellends who nothing about either sport they're discussing in both threads.

Well atleast they still have Uran, but my money on Evans to win the giro...

Is Bouhanni out?

Yes. He withdrew after yesterday's stage.
FWIW, I don't think he's a liability as some make out, he's aggressive but not dangerous. Rather like Cavendish when he was the same age.
Taylor Phinney did something like that on the ride today to the camera.
