Straight 3 way battle now. The MTT will be very interesting.

This is more of a challenge than yesterday's stage - the final few climbs are intended to break up the sprint trains and give attackers a chance. That said, given the weather and the length of the stage, a break might get 10 minutes and not be chased down as everyone knows if it comes to a sprint Cavendish will win, and there are two very tough days in the mountains coming up next.
Prophets can sometimes get things wrong
I reckon the other sprinters teams will be too hungry to let a break go too far. Those bumps are a bit Milan San Remo, but they'll fly over them after a steady pull and only let a break get about five or six minutes.
Hope I'm wrong though! I love drama in the unassuming stages.

How many sprinters are left that have the confidence of their team? Cavendish. Anyone else? Goss looks knackered, Viviani the same. If a break of 10-15 riders gets away with most teams represented then no-one will chase.

Posted two weeks ago...
Wiggo will crash in stage 4 but won't be out of contention until stage 14 for unknown reasons.
Day 14. Bye Bye.
Shouldv'e put some money on that.

hippy - is there anything in the Aussie media about OGE and Goss' form?
Two years ago he looked like Cavendish's major rival but now he looks like a busted flush? What's happened?

I don't read Aussie media and Orica twitter is hardly going to dwell on any issues he's having so I have no idea.

You mean that you don't know the goss on him?

He needs to be a man not a boy if he wants to be famous and see his picture in the papers. I'm not sure when it might happen though. I can't answer that.

blimmin heck - there's barely anyone left after yesterday. They all need a dose of HTFU.
I like Bouhanni too - he seems to have the same raw speed as Cav. Not much finesse, just fast.
