it hasn't rained a for a day or two now
by sunday we'll all be ready for some precipitation
it'll be that nice cooling refreshing rain

and we'll all be on off road vehicules so our hubs won't be fazed by a drop of h2o

stuck 38c/35c vittoria trails on the steamroller last night in preparation for this.

am curious how much stuff people are planning on taking with them given it's off the beaten track somewhat in terms of food/drink/other kit.

i tend to over pack in these situation but also don't want to leave something essential behind and regret it when I'm out there.

Not much, 3 tubes, 1 spare tyre, couple of tyre boots, 4 water bottles, a dozen flapjacks, a couple of bags of sweets, maybe a tarp and an inflatable canoe.

actually just looking at putting a third bottle on the bike, fill one jersey pocket with food with an aim to restock water somewhere near guildford.

Checked the route so will either join as the route goes over the M25 at Byfleet....or if im really lazy will get a train to Guildford and meet you heroes by the station with water supplies
