Hardest climb I've ever done. I'd love to go back but there's a lot of other big climbs I'd like to visit first.

The one I do each year is 1.5km over 21km, with a constant gradient. Much more friendly.
I bored of failing to get up it fixed, without a walk though. Bringing the BMC this year. Need a lower gear for the clay path.

Don't say that, we're still considering come over for it and I was going to bring the fixed on your original recommendation.

One of last years best riding experience - bombing along the north of belgium/holland across estuaries in a 15 man peloton - rain and shine.
I can understand that... however weighing in at c.65kg and riding a disc with no drafting I think my race would look more like this:

OK. I'd be up for fixed. The first 20km are perfect for it anyway.

Because I'm too lazy to change my cranks, or chain length.

^^
I knew that clip was coming.
There are some nice long bridges on the delta project that I've ridden but what looks 'scenic' on paper ended up being weirdly both epic and boring. We had supersteady 30knot+ head/crosswind.

I think this is called Mop Cow. Apparently photographers pitch up there on spotives to catch people as they fall sideways off their bike
Mow Cop, very near a folly that looks over the Cheshire plain. nice place.

To be honest one of my favourite bits of road is heading out of London toward the North Downs, going along Layhams as the road turns to the right and you get your first view of countryside.
Good call. Skid Hill lane, aka 6pt's favourite place to crash. Probably ill-advised to stand in the road there. I took this in December, on a rare bright day. You can just about see Beddlestead on the left.
A couple from the Eifel in Germany:

The pornworthy fussballclub?I don't have any other good pictures of the few scenic climbs I've been up. Should probably take more pictures. Here's a video of some cunt on a motorbike going up the Fuchshofen switchbacks. That was good. K17: Fuchshofen - Reiferscheid (Germany) - YouTube
