  • I'm a 10 at the moment but that could change.

  • Dura Ace 9000 is available with a slightly extended axle... Massive win if you're anything around a size 11 or over.

good god seriously? I'm an 11 and wish i could get my feet out slightly more. Are yours the extended axles?

  • subbed

I think you mean are mine the extensed axles ;)

  • "Good god seriously? I'm an 11 and wish i could get my feet out slightly more. Are yours the extended axles?"

    Yes.

    *Size 13

  • wooo pedals and shoes taken care of, just waiting for payment to go through on the frame then all I'll need is wheelset and chain.

  • Pitty those DA 9000s are £200

  • I didn't take Lynchman's off his hands yet because he still doesn't have them or his lost histogram.
I just went for R540's for now.

  • Got them, but (probably) can't get them to you till London Classic :(

  • Any news on the frame indra?

Well it's good you got your package, I can wait until the classic, it'll be a decent place for me to take them off your hands, especially if we're in the same group.

Any news on the frame indra?

Just waiting to for PayPal to get up and going then the payment will get through and the frame should be with me within a week, you're welcome to come and see it.

  • Nice! :D

  • Frame paid for and pedals and shoes have arrived, now I just need a chain and a wheelset!

  • mdcc approval Wipperman chain for £10.

As for wheel, either get those rear Halo (£90) and front Shimano R500 (£60) to run for now, or save up for a decent wheelbuild.

  • I will be getting the halos/shimano combo for now, not decided on a chain yet.

  • You can either spend silly money on expensive track chains, or get a cheap Wipperman that work just as well and doesn't hurt the bank when it time to replaced it every 3-4 months.

  • Indra, breaking surface?

    WHAT

  • Rogan, don't worry I have a fair amount of black spray paint ;)

Izumi super toughness, save around 90 grams over the wipperman too but either that or a KMC with suffice for now and I'll get something better when that's worn.

  • And the Izumi wear out just as much as a Wipperman, can you really feel the difference between those two chain?

£60 buy you 6 decent chains.

  • It'll weigh less, probably won't feel the difference though.
Easier for me to lose 90g anyway lol

  • Was gonna give you my Campagnolo Pista wheels for free, but they're tubular and besides you'd find them way too heavy.

    #yeahright

  • I'm ok with tubs, don't plan to do much city riding or skidding :)
    So if you're selling...

  • Easier for me to lose 90g anyway lol

You be surprised how losing 2kg of body weight can do to your climbing ability than losing similar weight on the bicycle.

  • "...don't plan to do much city riding or skidding :) "

What's that smell... smells like pants on fire!
