If I wore my trousers at the correct height they'd need to be about 3 inches longer.
and the seatpost would be probably higher too
-
• #628
Nah, I usually pull them up when I cycle because my trouser legs are rolled up anyway.
-
• #629
Did you lower the seatpost at all like I suggested?
-
• #630
Not yet, I'm very forgetful though.
I'll go do it now. Thanks for letting me use the seatpost btw.

Possibly a bit high at the saddle, you should just about be able to pedal with your heels on the pedals and your hips level, not sliding onto either side of the saddle to 'reach' for the pedals. Bar height looks good, a little bending of the elbows and hey presto, flat back!

Just lowered it by 2cm, feels odd but I'll try it out for at least a week.

I really think we should be trying to persuade him to sell it
-

What the fucking fuck? now your bike is already too small!
Like everyone said, set saddle back, lower it , and longer stem.
Look like it's a case of stretching.

Reminds me of my own positioning on my DF3
O-fucking-ow! your sit bones must be rawer than beetroot.
-
• #636
I'm fine how it is tbh :)
I will put the longer stem on if I decide to ride without a backpack. -

he is calling you a fussy princess
-
• #640
Thought it was that.
Don't understand how in being fussy though, trying things out to see what I like and I think I've found it.
Will still attend my bike fit because it will be good to know a professional view and to have everything down on paper.

Put a brake hood levers to have something to rest your hand on.
Sure made my centurys a whole lot more comfortable - and a joy to hillclimb on. But sub 20miler didn't matter much.

• #647
Agreed about getting hoods

setting up paypal facilities for continuous service anyone? -
• #649
Of course! Everyone loves being told what does and doesn't fit them by people they've never met.

You don't have to like it, as long as you do as you're told...
