  • Heel on the pedal at BDC and my leg is almost fully extended.

  • Looks PERFECTION to me.

  • seatpost looks too high to me. leg is fully straight

  • also you seem to be leaning lots to the right to get that much extension

  • I'd say that looks overextended.

    not a bike fit expert

  • also looks like you need a longer stem and a layback seatpost

  • Maybe, I'll try take a better pic later.
Both me and the bike were leaning towards the camera trying to to fall, hense tensed arm.

  • It's hard to tell whether your hips are level from that angle, if they are and you're not reaching down to the pedal it's not going to be far wrong. With your height and reach it doesn't look like the drop to the bars would be too extreme either. How about a pic on the drops, elbows bent, to give you something more to do?

  • Will fetch my photographer.

  • This should fit you

I should add, I do have a higher stem now so drop is very manageable.

  • I think you just need yo get used to a more stretched postition. It'll come with time, I've added 55mm to my reach since my first fixed gear

  • I'm feeling perfectly comfy now tbh.

  • I used to be comfy too. Think of the arro gains

  • Having trouble not falling over while trying to get a pic of myself in the drops.

  • Ace!!

  • lol

It's his heel on the pedal, so this makes sense. I agree with Colin though

  • looks alright to me tbh

  • btw a true sideview would be appreciated.

  • also you need a belt young man

Yeah that's what I thought, there is a noticeable bend when I clip in but we can go through it on the weekends I guess.

    looks alright to me tbh

I'm not really having problems anymore, haven't had a chance to do more than 10 miles on it like this so far though.

Not possible anywhere in the house because there's not space and it's too dark outside to you must wait.

also you need a belt young man

If I wore my trousers at the correct height they'd need to be about 3 inches longer.

  • Reminds me of my own positioning on my DF3
